My boyfriend and I are getting ready to leave our current sublet and find our own perfect New York City apartment!  Since we have been living in a already furnished apartment I am anxious to get my own things out of storage and start decorating with great D.I.Y. projects.  Here are some images that are making my heart flutter with ideas for my future home.

This post is a little off topic being that it has nothing to do with fashion.  I have started really making photography a hobby of mine and took a field trip to the high line to experiment.  With my trusty teacher, Colin Gray (http://ilovecolingray.com/) I think I got some pretty cool shots and wanted to share with you all.

Thanks to my guilty pleasure known as Bravo tv, I discovered a new designer that is perfectly my style!
Allison Parris hits the vintage & feminine button.  Although she is on the more pricey side its not unaffordable.  If you put some money aside from each pay check you can splurge on a perfect little dress or my favorite, her tutu skirt!

GAGA....do you need more of a description than that?

Lady Gaga is the most influential musician that has  come into this world.  Not only is she loved and supported by her outcast fans (myself included) but the mass-media has embraced her and sent all her songs to #1!  Although I think she is a musical genius and I have learned two of her songs on the piano just so I can pretend to be her, that is not the reason for this post.  Gaga is a fashion trend setter and has actually contributed to the recent evolution of fashion.


She is sexy and provocative but she has made it look cool and desirable.  I see sheer shirts with women wearing dark bras underneath.  Woman actually wear body suits with no pants!  Mid-drif cut off shirts being seen all over the place.  I also notice my own personal style evolving with the influence that Gaga has had on me.  She is a creative genius and I admire her vision and her courage to be who she is.  She embodies her art and doesn't change herself for anyone.


Lady Gaga is the queen of pop and she stole that title away from Madonna fair and square.

MUST GET MAXI SKIRT!!!!

Its been awhile since a post and I'm sorry but life happens and people get busy!

So in the absence I thought I would share that I am desperately in need of a simple black maxi skirt and finding it a challenge to find the silhouette and fabric that I want it in without spending over $100 bucks!!!  Keep your eyes out people!
